On June 30, 2006, China Biodiesel successfully achieved
placing and admission to the London Stock Exchange AIM market, with the
code of Ħ°CBIĦħ. It is the first renewable energy company in China
and the first provincial company, which is listed on London Stock Exchange.
Through this IPO, China Biodiesel issued 9,410,000 ordinary
shares, accounting for 20% of the total shares. The gross proceeds raised by the
placing amounted to 8.0 million pounds, and the market
capitalisation of the company following the placing at the
placing price reached 38.6 million pounds. The company intends
to use the proceeds of the placing to strengthen the technology
R&D and to expand the production capacity, including the
construction of the period II new project in Longyan and the
construction of a new factory in Xiamen, both of which are
located in South Fujian. |
